Fatima Masumova, DO

On April 1, Dr. Fatima Masumova joined the department as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, working with the PPI Child Outpatient team. She is double-boarded in psychiatry and forensics. Dr. Masumova comes to us from private practice with Harrison Forensic Psychiatry, LLC in New Jersey. She has experience as a full time psychiatrist at Rutgers University’s University Correctional Health Care providing outpatient and inpatient care as well as risk assessment and sexually violent predator evaluations and reports. She received a BS in Biological Sciences and History from Rutgers University, completed Medical School at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, residency at the University of Tennessee Health & Sciences Center, child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Hofstra Northwell, and a forensic fellowship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
